Deliver me from these females...! The girls are brilliant. This is us waiting to board at terminal 4 with nothing else to do, but have a beer! 36 hours later we ran into a huge welcoming party at Adelaide airport - overwhelming. Made us feel at home very quickly, but no shower until after briefing. Settled into life with our hosts that evening.

Up early Monday for vocational visits - still jetlagged, but up for it!

Welcome to the GSE 09 Blog site. We have been chosen as the team lucky enough to represent Rotary, Wales and our individual professions in South Australia. This picture was taken in Tenby during our very eventful team building weekend!!

Since this weekend we have been extremely busy making plans for our 4 week visit. We have been fortunate enough to meet with the District Governor Bob Higgins and his lovely wife Edwina, who conveyed their best wishes.

We have also delivered our presentation to the Rotary Club of Cardiff Breakfast and Blackwood Rotary Club. Both audiences gave extremely positive feedback and were supportive of the GSE team. Members have been friendly and quick to welcome us to their meetings; it has been greatly appreciated and has prepared us well for the delivery of our presentation in South Australia.

September 25th!!!

A much awaited and anticipated day for our team. After a somewhat excited yet almost tearful departure from Cardiff and then Newport we were well on the road for what was to be a very long journey.
